launchingthrees Verified Member Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 I've become embarrassingly addicted to Pennantwars.com. You essentially build your own team via free agency/draft/trades. Your team then sims 6 games per day. The sim engine is smarter than I would have expected and there's room to test your roster building strategies against some pretty smart people. Another popular game seems to be ootpdevelopments.com/ but I only played one season. Anyone else willing to admit to playing? As spammy as this post sounds I have no connection to either of these games.
snepp Verified Member Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I've played more OOTP over the years than I care to admit. Before that, too much Baseball Mogul. Before that, too much Puresim Baseball.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Mogul is dying but I still run a very active league that is 3+ years old. Always welcome new blood.
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Before that, too much Baseball Mogul.. Ditto. Loved that game.
ashbury Verified Member Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I'll cop to OOTP. And if you think professional help should be consulted for an addiction, consider this professional's opinion: http://twinsdaily.com/more-baseball/6283-article-my-love-video-games-ootp-14-a.html
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Ditto. Loved that game. Always room to rekindle that love.....
