On the bright side, the Rangers have hit some balls pretty deep into the outfield that have been caught. I can't tell if Swarzak is pitching to contact and being efficient, or the Rangers are just uber-aggressive and are jumping on his pitches.

Pretty sure being agressive is Texas' prerogative every game. That's why our pitching staff always struggles against them

There is a video posted in another thread of Delmon making an ugly error in the outfield today for the Tigers....brutal! Glad the Tiger fans get that experience now and not us.

Saw the video... Priceless. He could have won the dizzy bat contest. I've seen outfielders play like that after a case of beer in softball or maybe someone was yelling to him. Left... I mean right... No left... Turn around... Now... Now now...

Plouffe and the Aussie need to hit to play. I was surprised last year by Hughes defense, I thought he would be brutal, but he turned out be unimpressively adequate. I don't think you can consider him for regular play at second, though.
