Ncgo4 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Another very good outing for Albers. 7 IP, 5 hits, 1 BB, 2 runs. No offensive support, but a great pitching performance.

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 and Lewis Thorpe - 5 IP, 4 hits, 0 runs, 0 BB, 4 K I think they need to send him to Elizabethon... No one else there is worth watching, and he's toyed with the GCL.
SydneyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Thorpe's 38/2 K/BB in 27.2 IP is mighty impressive
Mave Provisional Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Sano has hits in 8 consecutive games-- he's coming around
B Richard Provisional Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Sano was 0-4 tonight I believe. Any news on why Buxton is still sitting out? He didn't show too much "attitude", did he?? edit: Sano is still coming around, no doubt. I saw him recently in person, looked very good.
Mave Provisional Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Yesterday's minor league update said that Buxton is getting a couple of days to rest due to soreness. Nothing serious, just resting up. Indeed-- 0-4 for Sano tonight. Happy to hear he is looking good! The milb player page for him has Sano going 12-37 (.324) w/ an OPS of 1.174 in the last ten games. 8 BB to 9 Ks in the last ten. Any word on Sano's D recently?
robbie111 Provisional Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Albers actually went 8 Ip in the loss which I think is counted as a complete game because LV didn't have to come up in the bottom of the 9th. That makes 2 straight complete games and 3 on the season for Albers.

Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 At some point you have to see Alberts in the majors, but my gut instinct tells me he's a Triple AAA starting pitcher.
Ncgo4 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 I saw Sano on MILB recently and he looked BIG. Any word on what his current vital stats actually are?
Jeremy Nygaard Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 I believe I read yesterday that Buxton has a sore toe.
