Not wanting to jinx him, but at 2nd base Lewis' does not seem to have the iron glove he has at First Base.

Plenty of time left in the season. The bats need to turn a corner though. Since the break the hits have been tough to find. The defense has also regressed a bit, which is expected with Buxton out. This KC series has put faulty defense on full display. Arguably Bradley should have escaped without giving up a run. Ryan was shaky but only gave up two legitimate runs. Ober gave up the two run homer today. That makes only 4 earned runs in the series. Who is even available as a bat?

I noticed that right away in the game.  Lewis seemed to fumble the ball on the feed to Kreidler on a potential double play.  I think he is a serviceable 2nd baseman if we need him in the lineup.  His defense is definitely better at 1st base.

Winning 5 series in a row 2-1, is basically erased with one period of slump. This team needs to go on a winning streak or these small series wins won’t mean anything at this point in the season. With a loss today 3-7 against KC this year?

Watching the last play by Lewis, his throwing is still a main problem, slow, very slow to get the ball out of his glove.

I cannot understand this strong dependence on lefty righty hitting setting such a preference over musical positions on the field.  It does not seem to make a difference.

Right now, I'd say that NFL football is more America's game than MLB baseball is, due to a multiple of on field and off field reasons.
