dxpavelka Verified Member Posted July 10 Posted July 10 My favorite thing about baseball. We spend weeks, months, each spring fretting over what the 26 man roster is going to look like. Who is going north. And now, four months later: Paulshawn Pasqualotto ashbury and BillyBallLives 1 1

What if Raya does, and what if Go is another win, then Pasqualotto? With magic like this, the Twins would not only appear in the postseason, they might win a series. I said this when we blew stuff up at the deadline last year: The easiest part of a team to rebuild is a bullpen. Did it suck to move our three best bullpen arms last year? Of course. The whole fan base was convinced that Duran was going. Jax HAD to go. There is a real good chance that the only guy who moved who might have been a contributor on a contending Twins team was Varland. And long-term, Rojas might end up being better. I probably should not have said that rebuilding a bullpen is easy. But it IS something that good baseball teams are able to accomplish. Hell, most of them, have to rebuild at least half of their bullpen every year anyway. The sky is not falling boys and girls.
