That was a great pitch and he has been working on laying off the low outside pitch.  He needed to at least try to foul it off.  But sometimes you have to give the pitcher credit.

The pitch to Lewis barely hit the corner, the pitch to Kreidler was more over the plate just as low as Lewis's.  Just look at Gameday.

Exactly.  Tough to complain that Lewis flails all the time at low outside pitches.  When he finally lets one go, it's a pitcher's pitch to get him.  Not every pitcher has the control of Cole and will hit that spot.  Lewis made the right decision.  It just didn't work out.
