I'm so tired of seeing Gray in the lineup. Really hope to see Culpepper get a post ASG call up to give this lineup a boost at the plate and in the field.

For whatever reason they seem to think he's their best fielding SS when Kreidler is inexplicably playing in the OF. I think I'd take Arcia over him, but for whatever reason they don't trust him there. And they won't be calling Culpepper up for a while... Ben Ross is the next man up.

Insane how AAA is overstuffed with OF prospects, and yet the likes of Kreidler, Keaschall, and Clemens (who is at least hitting well enough to justify it) have had stretches of being starting OFs. Really strange roster construction.

Why do you think Ross gets called up before Culpepper.  If Culpepper is healthy he needs to be up here after the all star break.

Maybe put an OF in center, and Kriedler at short? I know, crazy talk.

I didn't mean Ross was next up ahead of Culpepper, I just meant next up after that. He'd be more in Fedko territory if he ever got called up, Shelton probably wouldn't use him much.

Remember, anyone can play anywhere, versatility is more important than proficiency at a position.

Conspiracy theory.  They don't want Buxton on the IL until after the ASG voting as people may stop voting for him if he lands on the IL.  Since he hasn't played since Sunday, they could make the IL stint retroactive from June 29th and he would be available to come off the IL for the last series before the All Star Break.
