Exactly.  Tough to complain that Lewis flails all the time at low outside pitches.  When he finally lets one go, it's a pitcher's pitch to get him.  Not every pitcher has the control of Cole and will hit that spot.  Lewis made the right decision.  It just didn't work out.

I agree. I'd be fine if Lewis let every pitch on the low outside corner go. Give it to the pitcher.

got a lot of whiff that inning and would've had 2 strikeouts that inning if they challenged that close one against mcmahon, but oh well. would've been a nicer outing overall if not for the 2 out unlucky break in the 3rd

No wonder why the Yankees are desperate for C help. Wells can't hit the ball hard, or at all.

With Rice demolishing the ball, they want to keep him fresh for as long as they can before they have to put him back behind the dish.

Every F-ing year.  It has to be an organizational core philosophy.  It's beyond dumb.

Nothing has changed in this organization.  The only change has been Falvey.  The same people who supported him and his philosophies are still there, why would we expect any changes.  At least until we hire an experienced baseball executive.

When he was 10 and that mustache was only half grown.

Some people really get all the luck... One of my buddies growing up started getting 5 o clock shadows at 11 years old. He could buy tobacco without getting carded when he was 14.

The zone seems to be more and more confusing as the game goes on. How about that first pitch take by Keashall?

Tough to challenge on strike one when you only have one challenge left, that was a good decision by Luke.  It would help if the umpire would improve his zone.

Right!! Going to have to deal with it or start using challenges, and they (Caratini) already lost one...

Not all that great. Along with the early beard growth comes body hair. I'm probably the only guy on TD that uses shampoo and cream rinse on my back hair.
