Makes sense to me. Publicly known data proves this isn't accurate. You stated their gate was $84 mill. Their revenue share is $200 mil. That's $284m in revenue without factoring in tv, radio, advertising, merchandise, naming rights, all the other ways pro sports teams get revenue. You think all of that totals $8.4 mil in revenue? I don't. You seem to be doing an awful lot of work trying to prove, without actual data, that MLB teams lose money. I'm legitimately curious as to why?

Well if you believe some of the folks around here Leipold just invested in a business that loses millions every year, and the investors invested a bunch of money in a losing business without wanting a voice in how that failing business is run. Thoughts and prayers for these ill advised investors! DJL44, Mike Sixel, NotAboutWinning and 2 others 4 1

The Pittsburgh Gazette did an actual investigation into the numbers. I trust the work of actual journalists a bit more than whatever "DK's Grind Feed" is, sorry. The article clearly stated that it was for the 2024 season. The author is a 20 year member of the BWAA. His background was easily found on the site.
