Certainly the fan base has lowered their expectations in the last 13 months, but 80-90% of what he did in ‘22-‘24 through the All-Star break would be plenty good. The Twins are invested in Royce and there is still a pretty good chance that he’ll be good again. Yup. I am not knowledgeable enough to know if it is best for him to get demoted to work on his hitting or grind through it at the MLB level, but I feel like understanding how MLB teams are attacking you and adjusting to it is something you work on at the MLB level. I am giving him that shot as long as I can until a better player forces me to move on from Lewis.
