Anyone else get the feeling this is going to be another TC game where bats put up an early crooked number and retire for the rest of the game.

That would ruin my predicted final score.......

Excited about the Hello 😺  promotion?

I think Twins org is hoping the fans are, the ones that don't care about player trades. Thats what fills (almost)  the park.

Provich mentioned about a month ago that Correa spends two hours before every game getting his feet ready to play in the field.  Having had plantar fasciitis I'm willing to give Correa a pass on his struggles. I will miss his defense and understand that the Twins were paying him shortstop money, not third base money so he should be playing shortstop.

Agree...but..I question how much he was a real leader in the clubhouse...I felt it was a bit of a facade and what he did with Jax last week was a bit odd..I also agree that he is an expensive 3rd baseman ..especially at that age...31 next month..also had plantar..cortisone shot in the heal...no complains about his efforts to prep his body. My memory of him was his last play standing at first base panting. He looked over the hill.

Why would you think that ??

I don't know Carlos, but I do know people who have been his teammate, and they all said he's the best teammate they have ever had. I think he was THE leader on those Astros and Twins teams he has been on.

I'm starting to think that MLB is getting like the NBA and NFL. Highest paid player is the boss bull in the locker room and gets anointed 'team  leader'.

Maybe..he knew how to bang the garbage can..wonder if he led the way in the endeavor...I don't question his efforts on the field. My opinion mainly centers on his age, new position, salary. and injuries.

All players are trained for when certain questions come up , all a game they all do for each other --  ask Nuke in Bull Durham

a complete waste product------ by being on the roster

Honestly he has some decent pitches. Velocity up to 98.  Might see the bulk pitching philosophy of minor leagues showing up.

Not bad for a pitcher only Falvey wanted.

Provus--- Funderburk has trouble against righties and struggles against lefties.

Is that good?

Struggles = Bad.   Trouble = Very Bad.  ???????

Correa went 3-12 during the week series which pretty much matches his batting average this year.

HR and 3 runs scored doesnt

Someone earlier made a comment about Audra earlier. She is doing her job by making her comments. The person orchestrating that broadcast sends her directions from the booth. She is extremely kind to the fans and goes out of her way to be friendly. I have witnessed it several times.
