I was actually semi-hoping that Urena would hit Ramirez in the pocket.  Not that I want anyone hurt.  I just want some excitement in this game and plunking someone would certainly help that.

If i can dream make it a transistor radio that picks up Herb Carneal, Ray Scott, and Halsey Hall.

Throw in Red Barber or Vin Scully and it's a deal.

Hire the guy permanently  , he's what we need , everything i heard from him was precise about calling a game ,  we are changing the team , they can also change the broadcasters ...

FWIW, Correa went 3-12 over the weekend in Boston with a HR and 3 runs scored.  I haven't been able to see whether he is running out at bats or not, but I could see an uptick in production.  It seems like he was trying to manage his body in MN at the cost of offense and the immediate shift to 3rd has done wonders for him.

Doesn't seem like Twins goal is to either we in games or develop young talent, do it is hard to put a finger on what the goals are. Does seem like franchise is rudderless likeca store clo s ing down.

Julien- Gasper - Kiersey -   Why   Falvey and Rocco pleez explain your plan ? and with the 2 new YOUNG starting Pitchers ,?/ and were watching all these old washed up guys

I'd play Julien rest of year and try him at 1B.  See if anything positive happens.

Gasper and Kiersey should have never been on team game 1.  I expect them to be here game 162.

Recently acquired young pitchers should be here now.  One of them should have started today.

Exactly, a manager worth anything would see that Gasper and Kiersey jr. are not championship level talent beyond AAA.

i wondered if his private talks about 3b had any issues with moving Lewis around and getting hurt in C.F. - Also when Sonny Gray left thats when Correa wanted out also ,

Plantar fasciitis is a horrible nag. Would be surprised if it doesn't revisit its wrath upon him.

CLE pitcher usually doesn't face a lineup 3rd time in a game.   Has 9 Ks still in 4th inning

It sucks and I only play golf but I do always walk.  Can't imagine playing MLB with it

I watched a couple innings of the game today on Roku and it looked like he had really good movement at 3b making one good play where he charged in on the ball.  His power arm will definitely be an asset over at the hot corner.

Of the cast of thousands, I prefer Plouffe too.

But it's  tepid at best like, and I have the nagging suspicion more is not better in his case.

I hope they keep looking. Sort of rebuilding the broadcast team like the actual team.

Plouffe at least lets it fly on the Tuesday Skor North podcast...not afraid to be honest...

Provich mentioned about a month ago that Correa spends two hours before every game getting his feet ready to play in the field.  Having had plantar fasciitis I'm willing to give Correa a pass on his struggles. I will miss his defense and understand that the Twins were paying him shortstop money, not third base money so he should be playing shortstop.
