Please stop the in game, dugout, half-inning interviews...please. I am a curmudgeon, of course. but I also believe I am correct when I say that these interviews add very little to the game and genuinely obscure the action on the field. I guess it's an attempt to grow the game, to attract new fans, is that it? I mean, what am I missing here? Which demographic is it that would rather hear about a given player's winter workout regimen than pay close attention to the game action itself. I don't know.

That 2nd inning did some damage. That’s all I need to see to go to bed happy. Hope I read about a Twins win tomorrow

It ain't over till it's over.

Earl Weaver: In baseball, you can't kill the clock. You've got to give the other man his chance. That's why this is the greatest game.

Who remembers that game we had a ten run lead against gio gonzalez in the coliseum?

Heck, we're Twins fans here.  I'm still smarting over that 1985 8-run lead over the Yanks with Ron Davis on the bump...

LITTLE----  DISCOMBOBULATED  ON THE Homer ?

Diving anyway when he couldn't get to the sinking liner..... and that ball at the fence is one that a fearsome Buxton catches. Wise to not bang into the wall. He was even about a foot or so to the right of the ball coming at him from his view. That is not the Buxton we have come to expect. I don't think it is wise at all for him to be diving like he did earlier for several weeks. The snap of the head like that or face plant that is possible as he hits the ground in this post concussion time has to be respected

This is definitely not a vintage Joe Ryan performance, last inning notwithstanding.

He might be lucky to make it through the 5th.

We need to string some decent plate appearances. We’ve done nothing since the 2nd inning and we’re about to get into our BP in the 5th inning.

Twins will be lucky to have the lead after 5.

We also need some much better pitching from our starter, too.

to me the effort on the homer was terrible ,  if your in the game gotta go all out on plays like that,  and Byron would be the 1st to tell us that,

All the quick hooks pitchers get when they’re doing very well (although not so much lately)
