I am pretty sure nobody is going to offer individual games a-la-carte which is what many people would want. Any streaming package will include stuff you don't want to watch. My guess is you will have to buy this for $30-40/month, then buy your individual team's games on top of this for an additional $10-20/month. For $50/month you get what you want plus a lot of other sports. The alternative will be cable at $100/month. chpettit19 1
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 “The launch of this new streaming sports service is a significant moment for Disney and ESPN, a major win for sports fans, and an important step forward for the media business,” Disney CEO Bob Iger said in a statement. Hahahahaha, a major win for sports fans! How exactly? Now all fans who pay for a live streaming service will be paying hundreds of dollars more, but won't have to make three clicks on the remote to change to a new game, they'll only have to make two clicks? Either way, assuming ESPN will still be carrying NFL games and oodles of college football games that will require this service, this is pretty good news for MLB and the Twins if they can get on board. I've been hoping MLB can keep the sport alive by trying to make it as much like the NFL as possible, but I guess this option works too; just hitch your wagon to them and go along for the ride. Good thing too, as the MLB owners saw how much revenue Taylor Swift was bringing in. I heard they were arranging for Ronald Acuna to start dating Debbie Gibson. chpettit19 1
