Jeffers will be catching. I'd expect Farmer in the field and either Polanco or Correa DHing.

OP updated. Close but not quite … stringer called it Re Jeffers but not about the DH. Otherwise this ‘expected’ had the rest of the players correct, but not in the right order. Approve of today’s lineup?

I'm curious about Kepler. Rocco hasn't started him against lefties lately and has gone with Wallner instead. Wallner hasn't hit lefties well so far (at the ML level) and isn't going particularly well in general, I do think Max isn't 100%--he isn't running what I think is full speed for him very often--and he has cooled a bit lately (.507 OPS in September), but he's having a pretty good season against left handed pitching (.742 OPS) and is still regarded as the superior defender in right field,

Was wondering the same.  This is the point of the season where lineups get wonky and rest becomes more important so not too bothered.  Probably a good low risk opportunity to get Wallner more looks at a lefty too.

Speaking of low risk lefties, this is a good guy to tee off on.  The quality of at bat was excellent last night and I'd like to see that again with this lineup.

Just noticed that last night Correa hit the 550 PA vesting option for the 2030 $20m option, in case you were curious what kind of pace that was.  Played in 127 of 141 games so far, 25 more PA for the 2029 option.

Detroit radio booth was talking about this very issue for Tigers. Former ballplayer sitting on Dickerson's right said, "How are they (rooks) going to learn unless you hit them against same hand?"

Kenta's not off to a good start so far. Seems like he does this every game.
