IMO

1. That is two games in a row that the hitters didn't chase excessively. They forced the pitcher into the zone. Let's go for three games in a row... getting this under control will make us a much better offense. 

2. Been waiting on a breakout game from a player... any player. Hoping for a player to lock in and hopefully take a run with the locks on. Julien, Wallner, Castro and Kirilloff all looked the part yesterday. 

3.  I've watched a lot of baseball in my 157 years on this planet. Don't think I've ever seen back to back home runs come out of the glove on the same player. That was a rarity... how can you not love baseball.

I loved seeing the young guys carrying the team today.  The AB by Taylor in the third was awful and that is what we have seen too much of this year.  After Farmer was walked on four pitches he swings at the first pitch which was inside.  Rocco needs to sit him tomorrow to send a message that the team needs better at bats.  The veterans should be leading the way for the kids not the other way around.

 

Without a better veteran showing  it's gonna be unfair to think that Lewis's arrival will be impactful. He can't be expected to pick up the veterans.

Both Lopez's have been disappointments.  Starter Lopez looks like a number 4 or 5 starter and RP Lopez just cannot be counted on.  I expected more from both of them.
