Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Oh My... Hicks isn't on this planet anymore.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Didn't know I was tuning in to the Aaron Hicks show.
Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Bert is taking credit for Hick's big day. %
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Maybe a few of us can pitch in now RB. Holy cow! What a catch by Hicks. That will keep his average higher than Dunn. It also keeps Hernandez with a chance for a win (on his way to Rochester).
Westgaard66 Verified Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 The kid is playing a helluva game!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Didn't know I was tuning in to the Aaron Hicks show. Like it was written by Aaron Hicks himself
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Bert is taking credit for Hick's big day. % I think it's just Hicks responding big to the Antoan Richardson potential roster challenge.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Like it was written by Aaron Hicks himselfI like it better than the hamster commercial.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Hicks 2 HR plus one HR stolen, so I guess he is a net +3.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 If this is the Hicks we can all look forward too....then damn. I mean....Damn. He put a charge into that ball.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 haven't had the chance to boo a.j. yet. disappointing. I used to boo him every morning... Even during the winter months... Now he's a Ranger and I'm OK with him again.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Let me help here, RB. "Know when you see him,Nothing can free him.Step aside, open wide,It's the loner." Nailed it!!!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Mauer should have scored on the Doumit grounder
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Mauer should have scored on the Doumit grounderUnless he went on contact, which he wasn't, then Dunn would have had him (with a good throw). Sucks anyway. But nice to see Morneau with a two bagger.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Mauer should have scored on the Doumit grounder No kidding. We seem to have a lot of base running gaffes. What ever happened to the Twins that played the game right?
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Unless he went on contact, which he wasn't, then Dunn would have had him (with a good throw). Sucks anyway. But nice to see Morneau with a two bagger. The way Dunn was stumbling and bumbling around, he never would have got him at the plate. He looked like the 50 year old me making that play.
buckninetyone Provisional Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Mauer should have scored on the Doumit grounder bilateral leg weakness, dude. bilateral leg weakness.

But nice to see Morneau with a two bagger. Mauer should be taking a secondary lead with the pitch... once contact is made... If Dunn gets to that ball... His momentum is going the wrong way... If it gets through to the 2B... It should be deep enough that 2B throws to 1st for the sure out. Mauer or Vavra has to be able to read that.
snepp Verified Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I missed the Hicks show, we had a barn-burner of a t-ball game. I think we won.....23-22.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I'm not watching it live, and I'm no expert on proper technique, but... Up by 3, bottom of 7th, Plouffe coming up...I'm OK with not trying to run aggressively there. I'd rather have Plouffe hitting with runners on 2nd and 3rd than leading off with bases empty the next inning if Mauer gets thrown out at the plate.

Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 He better not give him anything to hit.

I was wrong... Infield was in... Mauer had no idea that Dunn would stumble in front of the 2B. Mauer was right to hold.
