The 3 Batting Kings of Their Respective Leagues- Can You Guess the Third?

Sano and Buxton lead their leagues in the key batting stats, as well as other stats. Their triple-stat league-leading slash lines through Saturday's games are simply otherwordly:

Sano: .446/.755/.1201

Buxton: .504/.681/.1185

But there's one more player in the I League who quietly is dominating AAA hitting. The fleet of foot, 29 year old MLB strikeout King, also posesses an incredible triple-stat league-leading slash line:

Clete Thomas: .476/.700/.1176

Clete's K rate is also now down in the low 20% range, well down from his 2010-12 AAA/MLB rate in the 30% range. Assuming Mastro is on the shelf for some time to come, and also assuming that Thomas passes all of his drug tests, does he get another shot as the 4th/5th OF spot on the major league club?

I would not have guessed this.

I know that a lot of people gave up on Clete a long time ago, but if there is a vacancy, it seems like he is earning another chance.

There's nothing wrong with Clete as an extra OF'er that rarely plays. He's the kind of player that you want in that role.

Just to be clear about those stats:

OBP/SLG/OPS

Question for the group: When the term "triple slash" is used, isn't it usually AVG/OBP/SLG? Not trying to be critical, just a question for future clarification.

On a related note, Beresford and Richardson are near the leaders in AVG and OBP in the Eastern League.
