CR keeps rolling.

Harrison 2/4 with a 2B and Polanco 3/4

Tyler Jones now has 15K:2BB in 13IP.

Duffy was also solid going 8IP, 3ER, 0BB, 4K

Ft Myers keeps rolling

Rosario 2/4 2B HR BB

Sano 2/5

Salcedo rocked in relief

NB and ROC both lost with Hendriks not looking that impressive.

I have to wonder if Hendriks is purposefully working on something. If I was the Twins, I would be forcing him to pitch out of his comfort zone right now. Results in AAA don't matter anymore for him IMO. He showed last season over a significant sample he can get AAA hitters out pretty easily. Instead of forcing him to pitch and get rocked with the Twins, doing it in AAA is a better way to go.

Hope you're right. I was wondering if he might be better suited moving to the pen like Guerrier and Perkins.

I certainly hope so too. Clearly, he's got something going on that makes him ineffective in the majors, and given his stellar numbers at AAA last year, I have to believe that that lower level of competition there was "hiding" the problem.

Best to work out that kind of kink while you still have options. I hope it's a case of one step back for two steps forward.

I would bet he ends up in the pen in the Swarzak role. Will be interesting as both are out of options after this year.

The thing that is wrong is that he doesn't have an above average pitch. He has 4 MLB caliber pitches but none of them can be an out pitch. This was the knock against him (along with injury issues) the entire time he was cruising through the minors and the center of some heated debates on BYTO. I think there was an article here that described this a while back.
