He's probably talking about Larnach, Rooker, Kirilloff, Gordon, Rortvedt and the revolving door of pitchers that didn't perform well in MLB and that we (fans) shouldn't pin our hopes on this years AAA players contributing a lot this season.

Nope. I would still rather see J.A. Happ play shortstop over Simmons next year.

Polanco might be bad but Sano would be absolutely dreadful. His range is nowhere near the requirements of an MLB shortstop.

Would like to see FO try to make a trade for DeYong from the Cardinals. Basically he has lost his job so i think Cardinals would be open to moving him for a prospect. His salary is reasonable if he is playing but high if he is a backup like end of last year. He would be our SS for next 2 years if needed at 6 mil for 22 and 9mil for 23. Club option of 12.5 mil for 24 with a 2 mil byout. 15 mil for 25 with a 2 mil buyout. Provides decent defense with pop. If you are going to pay Simmons 5 mil I would rather have this guy.
