Rogers Hornsby has the top 5 OPSs and eight of the top ten OPSs ever recorded by a 2B. (minimum 400 ABs) Who are the only two other 2B to crack the top 10? (Answers below)

Nap Lajoie in 1901 (Philadelphia A's) and Jeff Kent in 2000. (San Francisco Giants)

How about in Twins history? Knoblauch had .965 in 1996. Carew reached only .919 as a 2Bman; by the time he had his monster year he was fulltime 1B. Is any other Twins player in the discussion?

Knoblauch's 1996 ranks 21st in single season OPS among 2Bs. Carew's best OPS season as a 2B was in 1975 which ranks 46th overall. Among just Twins' 2Bs, Knoblauch had the third best OPS season in 1995 followed by Carew's seasons in 73, 74, and 69.

Joe Morgan in one of his MVP years and Jeff Kent?

Jeff Kent had the 10th best OPS among 2B in 2000 for SF when he hit .334 /.424./.596 with 33 HR and 125 RBIs. Nap Lajoie was the other missing 2B with a .426/.463/.643 season in 1901 (6th overall among 2B) with 232 hits, 14 HR and 125 RBI. Joe Morgan had the 11th best OPS in 1976 with .320/.444/.576 and 27 HR with 111 RBI. (And the 17th best OPS in 1975)

Where do those same player seasons fall when adjustments for era are considered? I'd run a B-ref query myself if I still had subscription.
