Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 In a minor league trade (the only kind the can happen in August now), the Twins have acquired outfielder Ian Miller from the Seattle organization. https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=miller000ian Could be more AAA depth, but could also be a potential pinch runner once rosters expand -- he's averaged 56 steals per 162 games in the minors, with an 83% success rate, and he is only 27 years old.

Perhaps -- they're not really needed in 2019 anymore, and not likely to survive the offseason on the 40-man either. But more likely, it could first involve a 60-day DL move, with Gonsalves and Hildenberger as the likely candidates.
