We beat the worst team in BB! 2-1. Romo has a great attitude and a wicked get rid of that ball speed! I like it! We have a great group of guys like our 87 and 91 teams...Sorry Max, your fav Trevor Bauer was traded to Cincy...wow.

Let’s just avoid playing the Yankees. I’m not sure if they’re a better or worse matchup than any other team, I just know the history and can’t take another series with them.

I feel the opposite. The Twins aren't scared of the Yankees anymore. I say lets get some high end pitching and go to war with the Yankees. I'd love to see the Twins smash the Yankees in the playoffs. Of course, I"d like to see any team smash the Yankees in the playoffs.

Lead is now to three, and Sergio Romo and Rogers did exactly what they are supposed to do. Shut down the opponents. The bats weren't there tonight, which means we probably come back with 10+ runs tomorrow. Will be very interesting to see what moves are made between now and tomorrow at 3PM central.

This is likely going to be a low-scoring series. The Marlins are terrible offensively but have a pretty good rotation right now.

Romo is going to be a fun one to watch.

I wasn’t big on the move when reported, but after hearing his interview I was looking to extend him.

 

He found out he got traded at 2AM, caught a flight to Chicago at 5 AM for a 1:00 game. When La Velle asked why he did that for a game he would never pitch in, his answer was that “We” were only one game up and “We” will do anything to make the playoffs. I don’t think he’d even met the team yet.

I think it's likely the Twins match up with New York in the ALDS. I don't see anyone passing Houston.

 

But it sure would be nice to start those first two games in Minneapolis.
