Twins Sign RHP Drew Hutchinson

The Twins/Red Wings announced that the team has signed RHP Drew Hutchinson to a minor league contract. He will be starting for the Red Wings tonight in a double header. Earlier this year, he worked for the Scranton/Wilkes Barre (Yankees AAA) and went 5-4 with a 5.14 ERA. In 63 innings, he struck out 61 batters.

Red Wings need pitchers with all of the transactions there have been of late and a doubleheader tonight (Friday) after two games on Thursday.
