Now there are options. you can trot Perez out there til his arm falls off, or give him the quick hook and go to Mejia for the bulk of the innings to prep for Wednesday

I vote for quick hook, but go to Romero, since he's back down tomorrow.

OK, 5 innings are in the books for our hitters. All those who had "Du Pont, GA 31630," please take your ticket to the member services desk, to collect your winnings.

I was hoping for two more runs so that I could Mapquest Hahira, Ga.

Something is wrong. The Twins haven’t scored yet this inning.

Season. Over.

Round up the usual suspects.

ZIP Code 31630 (Twins score by inning) is in rural southern Georgia.

Huh! Please look further into this, and get back to us.

Just down the road from Homerville, GA, 31634, by the way, which seems fitting tonight.

The rule when playing double headers is lamb for the second game not chicken.

I thought that was tomorrow’s dinner?

Lots of jinx statements in this thread. Isn’t there a rule on that?

Jinx don't count on game 2 of double headers. Everybody knows that.

3 top of the first runs? I'd say we're underway.

Turns out we were barely warmed up.

I’m out for dinner and not watching but I gotta chime in. No major league team has ever lost a game in which they led by 13 runs.

Romero is pitching tonight, but hasn’t been used in long relief that I’m aware of. Don’t wanna go against the plan

He went 3.1 in one of his games and has gone from 29-40 pitches in his four games, last pitching on Monday. That seems like a logical range for tonight.

But with Perez back out in the sixth, they've probably moved beyond the possibility of Perez coming back on Wednesday.
