If the Twins are truly limited to a ~$100M payroll, then they clearly only have a few dollars remaining to dedicate to either bringing back Jason Kubel or pursue starting pitching. My preference is for some starting pitching, hopefully someone young & durable like Edwin Jackson. Thoughts?
