Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 I meant to say one day before it was announced, not before it was to happen. Ooops.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 I wouldn't expect anything less from this league. It's a forced dog and pony show so then in the future they can say he was denied playing for football reasons instead of political reasons. They already settled. NFL claims they set it up because they were tired of teams asking about Kap. Amazing they thought they'd win a collusion case. My guess, is the teams I listed are vey interested and didn't want the backlash of being the only team in on him. While I think it is unlikely he'll sign somewhere, Ryan Fitzmagick is starting in this league.... and I'd bet a lot of money Kap is better than him (and I'm a Fitz fan).

The settlement didn't prevent him from seeking employment in the NFL... As such, he can sue them again if needs be, and with a settlement already on the books, it won't look good for them... Honestly, it was the waiver thing that really screws them. They tried to sub a different waiver in last minute and say he had to release them from liability for collusion... that won't fly in any court.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 Wow, SF is crushing GB. To be honest, I've felt SF has been a fluke that hasn't played anyone this year. Vikes control their own destiny now. Seattle isn't as good as their record either.
