Steven Buhr Verified Member Posted April 17, 2018 Posted April 17, 2018 You may have heard that the "Field of Dreams" site near Dyersville, Iowa, was severely vandalized not long ago, with thousands of dollars of damage done to the ball field at the movie's site, which remains a popular tourist attraction decades after the iconic movie was released. This week, even with snow on the ground, staff and grounds crews from the Cedar Rapids Kernels, Quad Cities River Bandits, Clinton Lumberkings and Iowa Cubs came together with other volunteers to work on repairs. Pretty cool story and just one example of how these minor league organizations work to benefit communities.
