I think some of you may recall Seth Romero from the draft last year.  Elite talent (top 10 in last years draft) but total head case.  Kicked off Houston's baseball team.  Still taken late in the 1st round last year.  Already causing trouble in pro ball

I am an alum of the University of Houston and a big fan as well and frankly this doesn't really surprise me. From what I hear he got a really long leash from the staff there. He was given 4th and 5th chances because of his talent and kept screwing it up. There was kind of a sense of relief among fans when he was finally released. We always hoped he would get his act together but he never really seemed like he wanted to. His actions didn't really affect his draft spot all that much so maybe he didn't really learn a lesson in all of this. Kind of a sad story really but you can't force people to change
