The first game I ever went to at Target Field was Liriano vs Ubaldo in June 2010.

At one point Ubaldo's ERA was under 1 until he gave up a couple late runs.

I would say they have had similar career paths.

Ok I'm back. Doesn't appear that I missed anything..

It's possible Gibson, after giving up 5 ER in two innings, could still manage to 'Win' the ball game.

SpongeRob!!!

Also, now that it's a game again, you have to take Gibson out, right?

I mean, yeah, but he won't.

Say this about Granite he will give the pitcher a battle - would make a nice leadoff hitter if he shows he can hit at this level.

Like I mentioned earlier. It's a small sample size with just two at bats.

But... It was his very first two at bats. That's usually when nerves make you do something stupid.

He calmly took some strikes to get a look at what he was working with. He looked awfully professional.

I'm voting to keep him right now.

*sigh* I think we used all of our comeback magic up for this series already... Hard to win when you fall behind early all 4 games

Who is this idiot? ^^^

Move away from the shoes!

That seems like the exact opposite of what we want, seeing as how when Chitown started buying shoes, the Twins started scoring. Get back on Zappos, for the love of all that's holy!

Small sample size obviously but after watching two Granite AB's and seeing the quickness of his swing and his patience at the plate. The guy is built for contact.

Molitor will be telling Falvine that he'd like him to stay.

You just have to "marble" at Granite's ability, don't you?  (Cue other bad mineral puns)..........

Seriously, I hope Molly does lobby for him to stay.

uh oh, looks like "Bad" Kyle (aka Kyle Gibson, Killer of Bullpens aka KGKOB) has shown up today. Put out an APB for "Good" Kyle anyone?

Nice work Cowboy, you may have found him.

at least for one inning.  Keeping my fingers crossed he doesn't go "picture on the milk carton" again.
