I agree for the most part....but.....it's hard to enter July as a contender and watch 3 winnable games get fumbled away in a week. You don't need to be great to qualify for the playoffs these days, especially in the AL. The fan in me won't let me be happy just to be in the picture halfway through the year, regardless of what happened last season.

Impressive to give up 11+ runs using only 3 pitchers so at least we didn't burn the crap bullpen for Game 2...cuz we know with Jorge on the mound, they're gonna be needed.

Why are people stunned at stuff like this. Baseball has always been decided in July and August. The team is yet again running into the wall when their bullpen gets gassed.

 

Just enjoy the wins cause this team isnt going to compete until management pulls their head out of their ass and realize we need to put some money into that bullpen.
