I imagine the org has him working on something and he will be up when they think he has it figured out. Not worried about it and it's WAAAY too early to draw conclusions about him based on last year.

Well I suppose we will see on Saturday if there have been any improvements in his pitching.  If I remember correctly, he just couldn't hit his spots.  Hopefully this is alleviated.

I would have preferred a voting option somewhere between the first two:

I stilly don't think it's all that mysterious. It's a mental thing. Lack of command hurts him, but I think it mostly comes down to getting nervous/anxious, pressing pitches and trying to do too much, and not really trusting his stuff....thus not getting ahead in the count. That's imperative in the big leagues.

 

It's something he'll only work out with experience at the MLB level. He should've been up here all year, IMO.

 

I still think he'll be a very good pitcher. The stuff is electric. It wouldn't shock me at all if he's the Twins' best starter the rest of the way.
