snepp Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Rendon entered the game with 2 doubles, 0 hr, 5 runs, and 5 rbi in 95 plate appearances. He'll leave with at least 3 doubles, 3 hr, 10 runs, and 15 rbi. Talk about having a day.

Double check it was above 1.2
snepp Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Drink what? I've seen your chicken so I'm just a little bit afraid to ask.Today it's Virgin Cokes.
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Meanwhile Sano is halfway to matching Rendon
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 I'm sure this has been observed previously, but this Sano kid is all right. Reminds me of Ortiz.
Blake Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Hughes gives it back, the Royals give it right back. It's almost like the Twins and Royals have switched places. Especially that cool "hey I got it, no I don't got it, you got it" play by KC. Right out of Twins 2016.
Heezy1323 Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 How freakin' good is Sano... wow.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 And for a few minutes there, Buck was batting over a buck-fifty. Baby steps.
Blake Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 How freakin' good is Sano... wow.And he'll probably only get better. Next franchise player?
Heezy1323 Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 And he'll probably only get better. Next franchise player?Just a reminder- he was hitting .226... just NINE days ago. This is his fourth consecutive multi-hit game.Man it's fun to watch him hit the baseball.
ThejacKmp Provisional Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Can't believe they didn't walk Sano.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 I know Molly is trying to get to the 7th here with Hughes but it's getting pretty dangerous. Might be time to go to...(looks down bullpen list)...ah, crap, leave him in.

bighat Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Dang it, Mollie. The time to pull Hughes was before that base rap by Escobar! Grrr.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Hughes has been too hittable so far... 10 hits through 5.2 innings is not acceptable.

nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Hughes has been too hittable so far... 10 hits through 5.2 innings is not acceptable.Yeah but he made up for it by not walking anyone, WHIP is only ...... hmmm 1.76.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 This ump is calling this outside strike all day long to Twins hitters, but Twins pitchers haven't got it - maybe I'm a bit biased?
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Today it's Virgin Cokes.Pouring for the very first time?
bighat Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Nervous about Rogers here. He's been off lately. Hopefully these quiet KC bats will help.
Heezy1323 Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Here's to hoping I see:"Sano homers. Buxton and Kepler score." like 150 times over the next 5 years
Jerr Verified Member Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Today it's Virgin Cokes. I learn something new on every Game Thread and usually not about baseball...... Wikipedia: Today, despite the collapse of Virgin Cola in the United Kingdom, Virgin Cola is still sold in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, France, Italy, Japan, Kosovo, Malta, Nigeria, China, Switzerland, Tunisia, and Philippines.[12] Virgin Drinks has since fallen, but bottling companies in these countries have acquired the licence.
