I'm watching it on my extra innings right now, so no complaints other than having to listen to this crappy homer white sox broadcast.

It doesn't leave runs on the table when you can't hit the baseball to begin with.

You're assuming that the RISP incompetence - which has lasted all of three games - will continue.

You're also ignoring how the Twins were quite good with RISP in the first two games of the season.

So we're at two good RISP games, three bad RISP games.

Hardly a trend to be found there.

I'm also in Portland, so the issue must be on my end. Which device are you using?

I'm on my Windows laptop with Xfinity broadband over wifi.

I still don't understand why Buxton is not better at bunting. It seems to me that perhaps they have not done enough to help him develop that skill.

Would love to see us bounce back and respond to a loss, where we played pretty poorly compared to the other games early in the season.

I feel bad for him too. Embarrassed for him. As a fan, I'm embarrassed that our team has a guy going through this. I am wondering if the Twins are going to sit him, or if he's going to make history....maybe he already has? I think at this point Grossman/DanSan are going to have to platoon in the outfield. Buxton's going to have to ride the pine for a few months, gradually be brought along, and maybe he'll find his stroke in August. The Twins are hurting the team, Buxton, and the fans every time they put him in that batter's box. Maybe have a pitcher hit and have a DH hit for Bux?

It's a tough decision to make. He provides elite defense and has already saved a couple of runs from his highlight reel catches. Clearly his struggles at the plate lose a couple of runs as well.

Since he's critical to the team, I'd lean towards giving him the rope he needs to hit out of this slump.

Do the Twins have the matte helmets with the raised logo? Watching the O's Yanks game between commercials and the Yankees have it-looks great.

The Sox throwback uniforms are interesting but they must have been a nightmare for the clubhouse guys.

And, people talk a lot about the KC and the lock down bullpen but KC didn't get good until they put together a top flight outfield. It doesn't matter how good the pitching is, if the people in the outfield cannot catch the ball or have no range, it's going to be a long season.

The Twins outfield is definitely moving in the right direction.

All right, we have the A, C, and FL member posting today!

Yup. Do you have a connection to the "little red schoolhouse"?

The fewer sac bunts the better, for my money.

I think Bill James did an analysis on sacrifice bunting and came the conclusion it game away more runs than swinging away. (This is wrong but I'll let it stand)

Here is a pretty good article on bunting. http://www.billjamesonline.com/stats33/

You at the very least need to give him a month to figure this thing out. Maybe give him a day off to clear his head. But I hate the thought of that because of his game changing Defense.

No, just happened to see someone wearing a t-shirt with the unofficial seal on it once.

I'll carry a similar argument about hitting the ball to the right side with none out and a runner on second. It's OK to make a productive out, but it's far better to reach safely.

I was always attributing "Never give up, never surrender!" to capt. Kirk in Galaxy Quest...

Goes to show what a faithful satire that movie was.
