Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 MiLB.com has issued their ranking for farm systems, as far as position players go. They rank the Twins' system 23th overall, and the number 1 is a surprise... 1-1011-2021-30
twinsfanstreif Provisional Member Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 At first I thought this was over all and I balked at the ranking but since it's just position players I can see it, the top 10-15 prospects for us lean pitching heavy as quite a few of our position prospects have graduated. Our over all farm system is probably somewhere in the 13-18 range right now but I expect some helium from several of our prospects (Diaz, Javier, Kirilloff, and Romero specifically) this next year. Add the #1 overall pick this year and we could be back in the top 10 very soon, especially considering we don't really have many prospects who should graduate this year

And their system was pretty good even before those.
