Jim Bowden "Deleon and Montas get it done"

I'm not trying to start multiple trade Dozier threads but here goes anyway. 

 

I was listening to the MLB Channel on Sirius/XM and a Dodger fan called and asked what it would take to land Dozier. 

 

Bowden says "Deleon and Montas gets it done". 

 

I've never seen either of those two pitch but I've read nice stuff on both of them... So I like it.

Hell yeah, I'd do that in a second. Two young pitchers with high upside. Sure, they are not going to be reliable 3rd starters tomorrow, but if we want to reach the playoffs in 2018 and 2019, this is the way to go.

Ha, this is what I had to say regarding the Dozier for Giolito trade in the other thread jus 11 hours ago:

 

"At least it's not Jim Bowden. He's done this stuff before and his always sound unbelievably off."

I can't find a Montas with the Dodgers org. Maybe a link? If they were talking about Frankie Montas, maybe this well informed talking head could read about the Rich Hill trade. Or maybe the Dodgers are allowed to use Oakland prospects as a trade chip, but that would be a really odd arrangement.

That's right.

 

I forgot Montas was moved in the Hill deal.
