Denny Green Passes Away

Former Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals Coach Denny Green passed away this morning as a result of a heart attack. He was 67 years old. So many quotes about Denny Green over the years. The New Sheriff coming to town.... And this epic post-game melt down.

Sorry to hear that.  He certainly had some good moments for us.  I think my feelings toward him were a roller coaster.  He was head coach while I was in HS and college and I was a really intense fan.  Sometimes I loved him and sometimes I blamed him for everything that went wrong.  

 

Oh well.  Prayers to his family.

A lot of fun Vikings memories with him as Head Coach. I'll always remember 15-1 in 1998 since that was my first real sports memories, and my first taste of Minnesota sports heart break.
