The Braves have been trying this for over two months to no avail. They made calls starting all the way back in spring training, and they're not getting anyone at all to take a bite.

Well your Braves are looking good for Groome at #3 with Philly going for a college guy at #1 as well as the Reds.  As one scout I talked to said you, pretty hard to get fired for taking a 6'6 lefty who throws 97 ala Puk.  Still I'd rather have Groome.

Keep an eye on Ian Hamilton. Hamilton was a good reliever in college during his first two years, but was moved to the rotation this spring and hasn't faired too well.

What I can't believe is the helium Justin Dunn out of Boston College has been getting, went from pretty much unknown at beginning of the year and now looking as a mid to late first rounder.

And I think the Braves might rather have Pint.

Can you explain what it means that the DBacks sold Toussant and the Braves have been trying to do that this year?

Arroyo was owed a good chunk of money while injured. The Dbacks got an OK bench type player back but essentially it was her is Toussant and to get him for little of nothing you have to take on Bronson Arroyos remaining contract, about 10 million.  Think like trading Nolasco and Stewart for a reserve player.  The Braves have made trades to the competitive balance picks and really paid by taking on the contract for Olivera to get Miami's competitive balance pick from the Dodgers.

I'm not sure what you're saying on that at all. The Braves are not trying to sell anyone. They're trying to trade for picks by acquiring a bad contract in exchange for the CBP picks.
