Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Mama go Boom! I hate you Mr. Harper.
twinscowboysbulls Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Complete BS. That was strike 3 on BH, blue called some terrible ones earlier in the game and that one was money. We are in for a rough year it appears boys. Looks like we should've kept the soul patrol out there for defensive help. Probably has already cost us 3 games. Bullpen needed an upgrade, instead Jepsen and Perkins regressed. Hopefully lineup can get it going soon.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I blame the ump. Harper struck out. It's one thing to give the outside outside corner and still give the inside corner, it's another thing to do that for one team but not the other. BS.Or maybe throw something other than a fastball???
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Extremely believable.it was more of an exasperate unbelievable than actually unbelievable.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 The Twins are firmly in the hunt for another #1 draft pick. Does Harper have a younger brother?
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Let's not relive Harper's HR, Fox Sports
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Of course, I do think Jepsen got robbed on a strike call. You never know with the camera angle However... It would have been a neat time to use that Fox Trax thing-a-ma-job so we could have seen for ourselves.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 What a joke. And a poorly constructed one. h/t Riverbri
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 JIMMER?! I am the guy back in the 83rd row, 16th from the left.
Jham Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Or maybe throw something other than a fastball???I don't mind the fastballs. Harper wasn't catching up. I mind the location. Keep the ball up. Don't throw one at the knees where he can drop the barrel. He gave in instead of just challenging him up high.

Almost like MLB told broadcasters to knock it off because they don't like umps being second guessed. Or, they couldn't get sponsors for foxtracks.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 If Trevor May and Kevin Jepsen started a business. That business would be open 24/7. It would never close.
Darius Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I'm shocked that the lockdown late inning guy, Kevin Jepsen, blew another one. Who could've ever seen all of these bullpen meltdowns coming? (The correct answer to that question is everyone on Earth except Terry Ryan.)
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I am the guy back in the 83rd row, 16th from the left.It is very possible you could be Ghost Rider.

Ba-Dum-Tish Thank You... I'll be here all week... Don't forget to tip your waiters and waitresses. Try the Veal... Good Night.
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 So when the Nats were batting, they used the Fox Trax to show how bad the call was but when the Twins are pitching they don't?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 So when the Nats were batting, they used the Fox Trax to show how bad the call was but when the Twins are pitching they don't? Home Field Advantage?
Darius Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 How many more meltdowns will Jepsen get before he loses the role as closer? This is getting a bit ridiculous.Have you even watched the Twins before? (Joke). He'll close through 2017.

jimmer Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Murphy's OBP is .097 and his slg% is .100.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 You know this game is running late when you hit the info button on the TV and it says "Vikings: Beyond the Gridiron"
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I think Dick just said Brian Harper.
Blake Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Boy, this is certainly baseball. Duffey was dealing and going toe-to-toe with Strasburg and is knocked out. The pen keeps it together just long enough for May then Jepsen to fail.

jimmer Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I think Dick just said Brian Harper.would that surprise you?
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Murphy's OBP is .097 and his slg% is .100.Good counterpoint to the nay-sayers who would tell you his .067 BA is an empty .067.
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 would that surprise you?Eh...close enough. It's worse when Bert calls Gibson, Kyle Lohse.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 In Bah-stun they call this Bryce fella The Hah-per.
