Is Joe Mauer really back?

Got to say that I like what we've seen so far. Probably wouldn't hurt to temper those expectations just a bit as he's had good stretches in the past, but it would be nice to see the old Mauer for 3 more years.

Yeah, it's highly improbable he'll continue to OPS over 1.000 and he's due to regress in some areas but I can't recall him having this kind of success since the concussion. Even when he had good stretches, the strikeouts were still present and he wasn't squaring up the ball. Those things haven't been a problem this season.
