Dr. Evil Verified Member Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Plouffe is not a real option at SS, 2B, Cf. I think it's fair to say he's also not a real option in LF or RF either, because if he was he would be playing it on Opening day for the Twins This is not the first time I have been a little unclear in making a point. Allow me to clarify. I am in no way suggesting that another team trade for him and make him their primary option at a position other than 3b.
kenbuddha Verified Member Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Forget Arcia's at-bats!How about tis slash line from 2016 ST?.377 BA / .385 OBP / .557 SLG / .942 OPS 13 RBI and 7 SB.DANNY SANTANA!!!!Pretty good OF speed with Rosario, Buxton and Santana! On the other hand, Santana's 2015 spring training stats were .333/.339/.456 for a .795 ops. Or was that sarcasm?

Or was that sarcasm? No sarcasm...Santana improved his BA by .044; his OBP by .046; his SLG by .101; and his OPS by .147. That is a HUGE improvement. And his haircut is MUCH better than Arcia's!

I'm choosing to believe that you are celebrating April Fools.

It would be nice if it translates to in-season numbers, but based on Santana's overall minor and major numbers, I can't buy into it. But since it's spring and hope springs eternal, I'll compromise and hope that it indicates some fundamental change in Santana's hitting prowess. My hope expires on May 1 though. ... and since I'm follic-ly challenged, I refuse to let their haircuts hold any sway.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 I love to think about power alley with Sano, Park, and Arcia. I try not to think about what kind of strikeout record would be set.
