diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 I'd say the offense as a whole has been a bright spot since May. My guess is that Span and Liriano are most likely traded, beyond that everyone stays.

ericchri Provisional Member Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Sort of a general question: Who does the trade deadline apply to specifically? Players on the 40-man roster? Just wondering how minor-leaguers are handled. It doesn't seem that there's really much trading of minor-leaguers for minor-leaguers without some major-league players being included in the deal, but if teams wished to do so, does the trade deadline apply if none of the players involved are on the 40-man rosters?

Shane Wahl Verified Member Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Liriano is the only one currently on the 25-man roster who will be traded by the deadline. You heard it here first!
