Good news! Molitor is going to be open minded about the possibility of Berrios making the roster on opening day!

If I missed the satire I apologize! Otherwise! Bad news! If anyone thinks the manager names the 25-40 man rosters, their not paying attention! That was abundantly clear during the Gardy administration!

They're definitely paying attention to Molitor. And by "they're," I mean the Twins' FO. The Gardy admin is over now. Many things have changed. I see the Yankees are going to be leaning on their 21-yr-old heavily this season. Stashed Berrios in my fantasy league.

Twins' website said Torii and LaTroy were quite impressed with Berrios' stuff yesterday.. New catcher Murphy praised his control and poise. Oh and praised his talent too. Maybe the best pitcher in the entire organization will make the cut for big club on Opening Day?

If Berrios starts the year in AAA I don't think he'll be there for long.  If any of the starters struggle at all I could see some sort of mystery injury pop up all of a sudden to land them on the DL for "shoulder strain" or something like that and end up being the longest minor injury to recover from.  As long as he doesn't start his 3rd consecutive futures game this year I can wait a few weeks until something opens up.  If he's not up I hope is because of the rotation performing well and not because someone is under performing and just locked into the rotation.
