White Sox Slang

Forgive me for putting this thread out. It is somewhat of an experiment.

 

As we know the White Sox are called the "Pale Hose" and the "Sux".

 

What other nicknames do they have? Do we have anything else to offer to the cause?

 

Me, myself, I like "man wipes".

Methinks they are undeserving of a nickname.

 

The only time I have ever cheered for the White Sox is when they were playing the Yankees.

 

That is only because I would not cheer for the Yankees even if they were playing Al Qaeda.

Is Achmahd LH? Can he hit the high 80's, a little slider? A LOOGY? Is there a posting fee? I bet we could pick him up for 2 yrs/3.75M. Throw in Duensing and an invite to the ML ST camp.

One I will never forget is when the Twins played at Wrigley and Mauer was crushing it at that time. Twins fans traveled well because our team was good and it was a chance to see Wrigley.  Cubs vendors outside the stadium were taken aback. However as we were leaving and every day after that they mostly tried to peddle anti-white sox stuff.  My favorite was a t-shirt that said:

1. The Flood

2. The Fire

3. The Sox

[Squirrel]

Here they are referred to as the Southsiders.

 

Or the Chisox.
