Let's not forget, supposedly, it is Molitor that loves Danny Santana and basically benched Escobar for half the season. That alone would keep me from voting for him.

 

I think he did a nice job his first year, I don't think he was great.

He absolutely deserves to  be in the conversation and will get votes. However, I agree with others. It should probably be between Banister and Hinch, with Girardi and whoever the Blue Jays manager is also in the conversation.

Not sure where to put these thoughts, but while I am happy the Twins improved upon their 2011-2014 records, I am still a little disappointed that the "changing of the guard" yielded the same scared results against the Yankees, and a listless offense in our final series that resembled many of the Gardenhire era postseasons.  Those seem like indicators that maybe not a whole lot has changed despite some new names and faces...
