Hate that bunt there....Esco is swinging well, suzuki and Buxton unreliable...always giving away outs.   One of my biggest complaints about Molly

Why not, if it works we have 3 runs, with the fly ball.

There's going to be some tension in the dugout after that Plouffe rebellion. I don't think Molitor appreciates having his authority questioned.

I'm sure Molitor would have challenged if it was clear. As I said, I think it was because there was no camera in the necessary position to show what Plouffe and Glynn saw.

interesting thought--Plouffie even refused to come off the bag, which was weird, since he was out by a mile

You want them to visit again ... put out corn for them to eat.

And then get ready for the neighbors to egg your house.

They are taking out the hill, i really like having the uniqueness that the hill brings.......like the Ivy in Chicago and Green Monster in Boston.

I think the bunt was called for. We're up by 2. Need one run. No outs. Bunt them over to 2nd and 3rd. It's what every manager, I believe, would have done. IMO, of course.

Or like what happened in Minnesota this year, the neighbor shoots you dead.

It's not his house ... it's an apartment. I guess they could egg his door, though.

Because you are asking Suzuki and Buxton, to get you that fly ball.    Assuming the bunt gets down correctly, which it did not...On the road in the 7th inning is not the time to get so conservative.   We have seen a pattern of this all year.

I've seen a Kid stay on 1st after an out call because he didn't realize he was out.

Take his lead... Followed by the pitcher throwing over to 1st a couple of times to keep him close and then advance to 3B on a single.

It was at that point... As the opposing coach... I felt it was my duty to ask the umpire to remove him from the base paths. Which they did.

Always hated all aspects of that ballpark. Gimmicks built in from the start.

Its exactly the time to try for that 1 extra run.

Love Buxton in the field, but he isn't even hitting his weight anymore.

The past couple games he has been hitting the ball hard but right at people.  He is on the right track now, and his glove is top 5 material in the majors.

Yeah... I don't care. Egg Away... the maintenance people have to deal with it.

Morris called Duffey's curveball a slide once and then has called it a "breaking pitch" every time since. Has not called it a curve.

I'm smoking a turkey, but I'm calling it a duck.

One thing Duffey (and Suzuki) should know is that after you strike out a guy with three curves in the dirt, the next guy WILL be looking for the curve, so don't throw the "get me over" first pitch curve. Instead, throw the curve in the dirt, or a fastball low and in.

Which would have gotten the one run you were looking for.

NO!!! Runners on 1st and 2nd, DP not a miss SAC. If sac works the next fly ball scores another run.......but either way we screwed it up.
