TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 I realize that, did I ever say he did? Wieters however is going to be expensive, I would love to bring him in if the price is right. If you weren't talking about Wieters - what the heck were you talking about then? Randomly talking about some other catcher?

arkyvaughan Verified Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 The Twins don't have any starting pitcher in Kazmirs classhe signed for 2/20 with Oakland and the Twins signed Icky Ricky for 4/49Big mistake by Twins I don't see why they shouldn't sign Kazmir if the length is rightJust because they have lots of SPs doesn't mean they have good SPs Kazmir may not be an ace but he's head and shoulders above any Twin
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 If Plouffe is traded, I think the Twins should take a look at Lonnie Chisenhall. He isn't a free agent, but I doubt the Indians will offer him a contract. Lonnie Chisenhall is now playing outfield for the Tribe, he won't have completed four years of service, I doubt he has any options remaining. Chisenhall could be the Twins backup plan for third base in the event Sano can't cut it. He could be a platoon option in the outfield and be a worthy pinch hitting option. Chisenhall turns 27 at the conclusion of the regular season.

I'd bring him in for next year but only on a two year deal
