Haven't seen it, but he apparently has the Twins taking Trenton Clark, who I said they might take nearly a month ago because of his hot season, and they like the high school outfielders, but it would be a little different from what I expected if they go that way.

Well he does have the type of speed that cannot be taught, will stay in CF and is projectable offensively.

Here's BAs Scouting Report on Trenton Clark:

Clark's batting grip is a little unorthodox. He eschews batting gloves and he holds his thumbs on the bat like he's gripping a golf club. It has always worked for him and few who have seen him doubt his ability to hit. One evaluator called him the best high school bat to come out of Texas in the past five years. He's battled blisters and ankle problems but has still managed to impress this spring, thanks to excellent bat speed and a long track record of performing both on the showcase circuit and internationally. Clark has 70 speed on the 20-to-80 scouting scale at his best, and unlike most of the rest of top of the prep outfield class, Clark should remain in center field for the long-term. He gets good jumps to go with his excellent speed and he has plenty of arm for center. He's already pretty well filled out physically. He projects as an above-average hitter with future average power. He has an excellent batting eye that allows him to draw walks. He could profile as a top-of-the-order table setter who can get on base and steal bases but he has enough pop to also end up in the middle of the lineup. Clark has impressed for years with his feel for the game, his leadership qualities and his knack for performing on the biggest stages. He's committed to Texas Tech.

Clark seems like a reach at 6.

I don't think it would be a reach. If a player won't be around the next time a team picks, and you really like them, plus say the other 5 guys a team likes are gone, I think it would be a fine pick.

Exactly, the team would have to be enamored with him and in his case likely get him to agree to below slot but I don't see that happening as he's considered a top 10-15 talent.

If you want to save money for later in the draft, sign a DJ Stewart or type player, someone who's considered a late first round talent and a sure sign.

I've been reading a lot about Clark today for some reason. :)  His grips come up a lot, It looks just like a "bunt" grip, though I can see him having a lot of control hitting that way (and thus higher Avg), how does he generate power using just his fingers?

it's not just his fingers, here's some video on him.  He uses great bat speed and an uppercut swing creating loft but yeah the bat grip is definitely different.
