Baseball Tonight

I flipped on Baseball Tonight when I got home today, and I noticed the format may have changed since I had last watched (or paid attention).  Ravich, Kruk were gone. Tonight, Tim Kirchen acted as moderator/host with a table of Stark, Keith Law, Buster Olney, and some other guy.  And I find myself actually paying attention.  There's still plenty of hokey stories and self-congratulatory laugh lines, but the show is actually tolerable.

My question: has the format really changed, or is this just an every once in a while thing?

I can't answer, Pseudo, because I haven't seen the show in years. But you've got me intrigued enough that I plan to give it a shot.

You caught the "seam-head" edition.  Every Thursday night, there's a focus on stats and it's basically the only watchable show of the week.  Karl Ravich is often on there as well along with Mark Simon.

I do not understand why they make the guys stand there- it makes the hosts look like they are about two feet tall. (Maybe that's the point but I guess I don't get it...) I was watching it earlier this week and Curt Schilling was talking and interrupting the other guys so much that I almost turned it off. Gawd, shut up already. I think the other guy last night was Jonah Keri.
