Consider this a place where we can post weekly or monthly Twins award winners.

For instance:

LHP Pat Dean was named the International League's first Pitcher of the Week. He made two starts and gave up one run on six hits in 12.0 innings for the Red Wings. He walked three and struck out 15 batters.

RHP Tyler Duffey was named the Southern League's first Pitcher of the Week. He made two starts and gave up no runs on six hits in 13.2 innings. He walked two and struck out 18.

Duffey was also named the first Minor League Player of the Week by the Twins.

Thanks, Seth.   Saw your tweet and had to come here to see who'd been P of the Week.  Sounds like they all had great weeks.

Understanding that a weekly award isn't necessarily a harbinger of full-season results, but does winning the award across 3 levels mean anything? Organizational depth is great, but those K/9 rates are better than caffeine for getting me excited.

If Pat Dean pitches like this for a whole month, what are the chances that he's called up before Meyer?

Pat Dean has weeks like that. To last a month, I would be shocked. And if Pat Dean gets called up before Meyer, I will be pretty sick. It will mean ridiculous things.

It means that three guys had really good weeks. I wish I could make more of it and that it was some sort of spring board to the rest of the season, but there's no way to know.

It's interesting that Dean technically didn't even start the Red Wings season in their rotation. He only made starts because Trevor May had to get called up.

Duffey would probably be the first one up, but if Dean pitches that well, it would be great!

Lots of very good performances!

Just curious, was Milone up for this award? If so, had to be a tough choice :)

I assume he would still be eligible. Can't imagine why he wouldn't. The awards is announced on Sunday morning, so his most recent start wouldn't have been included, but his complete game shutout would. Kepler has been a beast.
